Of course, not many people want to be rich realistically, but just enough to not have to worry about paying bills on time or having money for an emergency if one comes up.
-
Easier, no. As you make more you end up spending more, so it all evens out in the end. Would it be nice to make more, yes.
-
Yes. I would take care of about 95% of my problems. Sad, ain't it?
-
No. Money is not whole life. I would be more than happy if I get just enough money and more of other values in life like love, happiness, health...Yeah, health is wealth... and friends, neighbours, good family, and all good things.... Master card says!!-"There are somethings in life that money can't buy...."!!
-
i KNOW my life would be easier if i made more money!
-
With more money, life for me as well as for members of my family would be easier for the following reasons: (1) We can have our very own dwelling places so we would not have to keep on moving after each tenancy agreement. (2) We would not have to be concerned with the timely payment of all our bills as well as our hire purchases and loans. (3) We would have the means to pay for insurance premiums like life, personal accidents, medical, etc (4) Money would be available to support our children for education up to tertiary level. (5) Money would be available for traveling to see the world, etc. (6) Money would be available for any contingencies to meet the urgent needs of the moment. I need to remember that money is not everything. Our spiritual, emotional, social and other non-monetary needs cannot be met with money alone.
-
No not easier!!
-
Does a fish swim? LOL, Yes it would be alot easier. ;]
-
I'm poor and it still seems pretty easy. It's the money that I'm worry about. Every time they give it to me I have to dig a hole and bury it.
-
Hell yes. Money may not buy happiness but it pays for the things that do. Money issues are one of the top things couples fight about. If I made more money I wouldn't be forced to move out of my current apartment and back into my parents' house cause my company cut my pay by $10k a year. >.<
-
not easier, but way more fun!
-
In some ways yes. But money does not solve every problem and even creates its own also.
-
Yeah, I guess.
-
No have plenty of money and my life could not be easier.
-
Oh hell ya, then I wouldn't have to have a full time job and 2 part times.. Damn bills :(
-
It couldn't hurt.
-
Sure it would. I could still pay bills and afford to treat my lady friend more often, making my life easier, and maybe I could even save enough to do something fun once in a while.
-
Well, it could be. But it could also make my life more complicated especially in this financial climate. I'd be worried about where to keep it the whole time.
-
Money isnt everything, but Yes,Yes and Yes again haha!
-
I agree with "Needs some coffee". I used to make bare minimum to do dirty jobs... now I make 6 figures now. However, it didn't make things easier. For example: Sure I have a nicer car now (no longer driving the hooptie Ford Festiva) but you know what? It was better on gas, and it was paid off... insurance was lower and I got less tickets. I had to move to a nicer area to get this job, cost me 5K to move, and I've been paying 2k a month in rent a month. I'm still driving 30 miles to work a day, and I work so much I don't have time to do anything else. My taxes cut my paycheck in half, and I end up with like $200 a paycheck to get gas and food. So, yeah money gets you a bit more... but how much? Is it worth your free time? or how about having a life? I mean who will remember I was a great worker? I've lost countless friends from becoming a work-a-holic... Not worth it IMO.
-
It would be one less thing to worry about in life, that's for sure. Easier is a strong word. Less complicated, less stress at paying bills, mortage, insurance, health benefits...yes, it would help if I made more money.
-
More money, more problems. Life is what you make of it, not how much money you make.
-
Yes, in the sense that being able to better provide for my family helps alleviate my own stress. I want to know that my son will be able to go to any school he desires to attend, and I want my wife to be able to do whatever she wants with her life. That being said, I asked myself this same question a few years ago. My income has more than tripled since then but my life is still quite the challenge.
-
No, more money doesn't make it easier. having supportive family and friends makes life easier.
-
Money doesnt matter, as it is the root off all evil, but yes i would be EASIER but not ' better '.
-
I've made more money, and yes, my life was easier?
-
It's possible,. OTOH, just like work expands to fill the time available, bills expand to fill the cash available and then some
-
absolutely. Money shouldnt be the sole reason for happiness but definitely makes life easier. Knowing that you can provide for your family is one of the greatest attributes a man can feel good about himself. (and a woman)
-
I {{{know}}} my life would be easier! :D
-
Not really. It might be a bit more fun, but I'm already just about as happy as a man can be and still be human. : ))
-
Yes and I am not talking rich...just comfortable...
-
yes..right now definitely..i would have money be able to get a car and stop going on the bus and wasting hours that i actually need..i wouldn't have any negatives on the account and i would be able to get gifts for people without having to really worry about $$$..it sucks
-
Easier and happier and I'll be more generous.
-
quite the opposite i think with the lakeonic life i life its as simple as it gets i am not saying i dont whant to make money just saying it also comes with a lot of resposibiltys..
-
No explanations or rationalizations -- my answer is yes.
-
It would solve a few problems.
-
It would be easier if I had less debt.
-
if you look at money like air, if one has plenty of air they don't give it a second thought, But if you are deprived of air, you will think of it all the time.
-
make money??? you mean interest??? Sure If I made money I could make as much as I wanted! It would be harder If I earned more though because there would obviously be more work in involved
-
Yes it would free me up to do more for the world around me.(and get me that horse ranch I'm pining for)
-
I know it would be, LOL.
-
definately easier! probably not better though.
-
Just a little more right now. But not much.
-
Although money doesn't solve all your problems, and probably creates additional ones, I still think that it would let you focus on what's important rather than constantly trying to find way to pay your bills and plan for your retirement.
-
no, because money doesn't change who I am, or who anyone is...it is just a distraction and also a tool. I would still have heartache over my hurting loved ones, and the ppl would still be rude on the highways, and so on....I have little money and a wonderful life.
-
Duh! Yes.
-
OF COURSE, DONT YOU.
-
yes. I don't think it would be perfect, but it sure would be alot easier if I had less debt, and more moeny to spend.
-
Yes - but I am not sure I would be as hard-working as I am today, if I had money all along.
-
ALWAYS
-
The great thing about being poor is that you still believe that money can make you happy.
-
Easier? YES!!! Happier? Nope
-
oh yeahhh
-
aaaaaaaaaahh yeh!!!
-
Nope. I would just spend more.
-
No. happiness comes from the mind not external objects just think is there any pleasure that if you could enjoy as often as you liked would not lead to pain eventully.money is no diffrent just ask donald trump.
-
Well, it depends on how MUCH more money. I don't think an extra $50 a month would make anything much easier. Adding $100,000 a year to my paycheque would probably make some things easier. :)
-
Money doesn't make your life easier. Your state of mind does. http://mperry2700.avonrepresentative.com/
-
of course, but it would be more stressful, the higher you go the less you but the more you have to answer for including other ppls lives
-
yes just a little more not much though.
-
Yes, of course! When I used to work at a nightclub, in Phoenix, I used make over $200 or more a night (just for 5 nights a week). I miss that kind of money for sure. My life was easier then. I could stay at a motel anytime I wanted to when my ex and I had a huge argument (when we were still married). I could do anything on my off time when I had the money.
-
I definitely think it would be easier!!
-
yes it would make your life easier, but maybe not exactly happier
-
no.
-
Sure! ... yet it is the challenges of achivement which enable us to respect what we have already ... Unlike those born with the silver spoon. ;)
-
It always has been easier when I make the big bucks...when your poor you really miss the green stuff.
-
Of course it will. Right now I'm only working PT (but actively looking for FT). I "had" to give up my car. Instead I have to walk 1 1/2 mi. to the trolley each way, then take a bus to work. I'd be able to actually stay cool instead of putting my a/c on 76. Also I would be able to eat healthier food. I could go on...
-
Of course, but only if I got a raise - I couldn't handle more hours to make the extra money! Already quite busy.
-
Right now I don't have a job. And there isn't one in the foreseeable future. It would be nice just to have some money much less...more money.
-
Easy will not really make me happy. Challenge is good. I think life would be easyer if there where less regulations. Everytime I have an idea theres a zillion regulations thant cost a gazillion dollars. Thats before I can even buy the stuff to start the business.
-
Yes it would be a lot easier to not worry about having money to buy food..go to bed hungry at least 4 times a week, dont want a lot of money, but I dont think people should ever have to worry about getting food to eat, theres a LOT more people worse off by far than myself, they dont have place to live>
-
YES.
