Yes, I love them. Mesmerizing.
I still think they are amazing too look at.
more so. when i was younger i was a bit afraid of the roman candles and such, but not anymore.
Yes, but my standards have raised. Now it takes something like the Zambelli's to impress me.

I like it even better now. My father would make us all leave before the finale so we wouldn't get caught in traffic and we missed out on the best part of it every year.
Firework displays were special when I was young. Now I can watch them a dozen times a year and I find it's not special at all.
Yes, but now the noise bothers me a bit more.
I feel we are getting drenched in fireworks.....it seems like we have to over due everything....I try to keep fireworks a 4th's celebration....I keeps it special that way....
I love them. That is one of my favorite times of the year. LOVE IT!!!
They still amaze me!!
Yes, I did
Yes. In Japan fireworks (hanabi) are quite popular and there are spectacular fireworks shows during the summer (especially August). Shows last 1 or 2 hours.
No. I still love seeing fireworks, however. But like most things in life (Christmas, Halloween, etc) everything seems so much more magical when you're a kid.
That is why I *love* being around my kids when it is Christmas, Halloween, 4th of July, etc..
The last fireworks show I saw was on the 4th of July in Michigan, and I'm a Canadian. They were AMAZING!! It was for like half an hour. Beautiful.
Fireworks are incredible. I love them! =D
i still like to see them!
I still love them. Knowing how they are made makes them even more impressive. Ephemerals.
I always look forward to them.
Yes, my favorite fireworks are on the Fourth of July.
No, less. For a couple of years in my late teens I helped my Dad run a fireworks stand. We had all the leftover goods we wanted, and I ended up "burned out" on them. I still find it compelling, however, when other people are lighting them off, to grab a few and try some creative experiments. Like, upturning a pie tin in a plate of water, and then lighting fire crackers under a can on top of it. Just curiosity things, mainly.
no i have tinnitus
I still love them!

no ive got tintius
if anything i like them more now. when i was younger i was all angsty and whatever towards them. but now i love them. they are so pretty.
Yes, because I have never liked fireworks even as a kid. I didn't see the point of exploding lights in the sky.
About the same!
The attraction is greater as the years go on. It is the anticipation and connection to the past, going with the family to see something special that doesn't happen very often. Kind of like a a long lost smell remembered!
every bit:)
I love fireworks, a lot, alot, a lot.. But seeing them each 4th of july does sort of lose its charm a little with each passing year...
It's different when you're small. Everything seems more colorful, newer, more exciting and more intriguing when you're small. But then again, now that you're past that phase it can bring back lots of memories of feeling that way the first time you saw it.
So no i don't like them as much because they aren't as new and intriguing, but they do feel nostalgic.
Helllyeah yo...:)=)
No, the older I get the more stupid they seem.
Correction:
The professional ones are great, but the illegal ones my neighbors set off in our heavily wood community piss me off.
So, fireworks are great; people are STUPID!
