No sure-fire way at all, but just like vampires don't like it, garlic at least keeps people at a distance. It's a strong smell that also escapes through your pores, like alcohol. While fighting (and ultimately winning) my battle with alcoholism, I went to my doctor after having two drinks. He said condescendingly, "I can tell you've been drinking." I denied it. So he asked me if I've had garlic recently. I said, "yes, quite a bit." He then let it go.
Also, drinking a Bloody Mary (made well) with plenty of horseradish, garlic and lime juice is an alternative beverage. Beer is something I've never heard of anyone "getting away with."
I don't advocate lying to anyone, but everyone should be able to live their life without judgment. Just DON'T DRINK and DRIVE!!!
Whatever you do now to mask it, the smell will be back until the alcohol is out of your system.
the problem with alcohol breath is that the alcohol is in your bloodstream and therefore your lungs, so the scent is coming from somewhere other than just your mouth, this is the reason you can't pass a breathalizer test by chewing gum, the smell also escapes from the pores in your skin
Try eating segments of grapefruit as it takes away all the smell of alcohol from your breath.
Stop drinking and brush your teeth. It does go away.
chew fresh parsley
eat a banana
