A star that flashes several different colors. I love the thing. Its been in my family forever. Couldn't immagine Christmas without it. :D

I have two trees up, one has an angel on it-the other a star.

- I have two trees up to.. I thik we are the only two.. Someone brought me one on Christmas, and a wreath, and tons of other gifts! And I only got them one gift.. oh ya, I paid for all the presents they bought..hee hee, no wonder they were so nice to me. (I love my sister!)

I had a really nice star but it developed electrical issues. Bummer. Right now there is nothing but on a good note, the house won't burn down.

Christmas tree is merely a symbolism. So whatever meaningful you put on top of it would be fine. This year I would not setting up a Christmas tree. However if I had one I would put a symbol of a star. In the Bible it was recorded that a guiding star was used by God to lead wise men from east to search for the Savior, Jesus Christ.

I actually have a big bow on our tree..my step mom decided this year our theme was teal and silver with a lot of bows..it looks a total mess in my opinion, like it just got in a fight with the linen closet of a 90 year old woman..but whatever.. she likes it. so I had to make a bow to put on top...its like falling apart but oh well..yeah.

A psychedelic angel (that what we call him - it's a light show underneath the angel's skirt). It's very kitschy and I nearly had an heart attack when my husband bought it, but he has grown on us :)

My tree is topped by a glittery gold star that my skinflint of an ex-boyfriend bought for my son 3 years ago at the 99 cent store, and which my son still insists MUST go on the tree. He loves it, it's Christmas, it's his tree :) Someday when he's older I'll get to start putting my pretty angel on the tree again.
