You can manually edit the entries listed in the Uninstall Menu through your registry, but I'd suggest one of the freeware programs that can do this and lot's more. They don't require knowledge of countless registry keys and most of them auto-backup any changes you make so that you can undo them if you have unexpected problems with a change.
Spybot Search and Destroy is the one I use. (It is available here: http://www.snapfiles.com/get/spybot.html ) Under the "Tools" menu there is a section that lets you edit or remove any of the entries listed in your Add/Remove Programs Menu. You might also want to run the "System Internals" tool, which will basically fix and cleanup miscellaneous registry errors.

If you don't want a complete spyware detection system, you can also try RegSeeker ( Available at http://www.snapfiles.com/reviews/RegSeeker/regseeker.html ) Personally, it tends to run slow and lock up on my computer, but some people prefer it. I think Snapfiles gives both freeware programs a 5 star rating and I have never been disappointed with a any programs I found there which were rated 4+ stars.
