Any proper evidence, not internet rumour, for this? The Obama campaign claims to have filed his birth certificate. I cannot imagine the McCain campaign, or the Clinton campaign before it, leaving it until this late to raise such an obvious query.

Obama's birth certificate was vetted before he could register to run for President. It was accepted. These law suits are frivolous and will all be thrown out of court. He was born in Hawaii. John McCain was born in Panama. And even if Obama had been born abroad it would not matter. As long as you are born to a parent who is a naturalized American citizen then you are also considered as such thru' the American Embassy in that country. How do I know this? Contrary to many blog replies, there has never been a certified "Birth Certificate" produced by the man, party or supporters, NEVER ! To date, close to 1 million dollars has been spent to prevent anyone from seeing his real certificate...Irregardless of party affiliation, being " A NATURAL BORN CITIZEN OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA", is one of the requirements to run or serve as President of the United States, and, to have one's qualifications for this or any job checked and verified is only common sense. This is only one of thousands of jobs which have certain requirements of qualification for the job, and no one objects to having their qualifications checked and verified.....unless they have something to hide. EVERYONE, both Obama's supporters and his opponents should welcome proof of his meeting the qualifications for the most important job in the world, and no one should object to requiring him to do so, afterall, it is a requirement of the job. There is never fear or anger over any question being asked, but only fear and anger of what the answer might be, and whenever someone fights to prevent the answer from being heard, it is usually because they know the answer is wrong. If Obama supporters are so sure that he meets the constitutional requirements to be President, then why don't they urge him to produce the true Birth Certificate and stop the controversy and promote the unity they so loudly proclaim? If a simple $12.50 certified copy will end this nonsense, then why not spend the $12.50 and save from spending another million dollars fighting this false alligation?

The dicussion won't end until the courts in hawaii just disclose the damn thing already..Although many are sick of hearing about it..the american people do have the right to proof..instead of mr obama's continual moves to dismiss..he should just let them show the original(if there is nothing he is worried about) and put the thing to rest. :)
