How do i find my webcam in device manager? cause im pretty sure its under usb but it dosnt say the webcams name

    Still having issues, eh? Instead of device manager, look in control panel.
    If you're seeing a question mark or a red x in hardware under device manager in a USB root or device, I'd first look in scanners/camera in control panel to see if it's listed before I'd do anything else.
    Just an issue showing up in device manager doesn't mean a heck of a lot as far as troubleshooting something like this. Your cam may be installed ok, but your USB hub/root or port may , for a different instance, not be working. Say it's a 2.0 but running at a legacy for example.
    It may very well turn out to be the cam causing your issue in device manager, but until you check in control panel/scanners/camera, you really can't say that the cam is the issue for sure.
