Where is the worst and best part of Charleston, and how are those sections of the city the worst & best?

do you mean Charleston, SC or Charleston WV? The one I knew for a few months was Charleston SC. I was stationed on a Navy ship at the Naval Station. There was a bad area located next to the Base, including a very bad housing project. We were told to never walk around the area, but sometimes some guys took the chance, and there were several cases of crimes against the military community. The best part of the city was the downtown area, with the beautiful old houses and gardens.

Assuming you mean Charleston, West Virginia, the best part is South Hill and the Oakhill area. They are well built and have more safer areas. The worst area is the Dubar, South Charleston, and Kanawha City areas. The crime rate and poverty levels are higher in them areas.
