    I do agree with that saying. Sometimes you have to talk about the truth even if it's going to hurt. This way they aren't living in denial anymore and can go on being a healthy human being.

    Sometimes. Sometimes you have to do something seemingly cruel and harsh to help someone, like take all your kids things away til they stop being a brat (my mum did that to me). I would say that most of the time though, you can just be kind to be kind
