Help answer this question below.

I got my tongue pierced a couple of days ago...when I push up the top ball to see the underneath, I can see that my tongue has shaped itself around the ball and forms a crator where the ball usually rests. Will that have any adverse effect? Should I worry

no this is normal just aslong as there is space for you to push you bar up. you get this because when you close your mouth the ball rests on your tongue. just make sure your tongue doesn't swell that it encases the ball

- Good answer. I don't have mine pierced, but it sounded normal to me too. My tongue has even developed grooves where is rests against my teeth.

i just got my tongue pierced 2 days ago and mine is doing that too. i heard that it could be from the barbel being too short to accomodate swelling.. i just wanted to know if the "crator" in my tongue will go away after the swelling goes down.. the top ball is half buried by my tongue...:S

just keep rinsing your mouth with listerine, and make sure the stem of the ring doesnt go below the piercing point ,like into your tongue itself.call the shop that you had it pierced.
