Squats and lunges will be beneficial in developing the muscles, to make your butt appear bigger. But you have to be committed, and you have to do a lot. There is no way to just gain fat/mass there otherwise, without surgery.

Honestly i've been lookin up ways to get a bigger butt also... i still havent found a legitiment answer... but i'll tell u what has shape and lifted it... squats n leg curls.... i do them every night [6 reps of 20] before i go to bed... in about 2 weeks u'll see a differen [if ur doin them rite] trust mi.

It's easier for men because we can increase our muscle mass. For women it would be much harder but can be done through heavy weight training. This would be specific lifts like squats. The down side might be that it overly develops other parts of your lower body too. OR You can eat a lot and get fat. OR You can stay slim and be happy that you look good and are healthy.

Aside from all of the amazing answers youve received up to this point...the real way to get a bigger butt is by working your butt muscle. Im guessing you want a round, firm butt, not a 'big mac' ass that is big sideways. The best thing you can do is deadlifts, squats, lunges and step ups. If you're talking muscle and shaping rather than just blobby fat, you need resistance exercise where you are lying on your stomach and bending your legs at the knee pulling against weights.

Other than food :), try squats and lunges with weights or without weights. They will work your glutes and make you behind healthier and better shaped than food.

Doughnuts, cakes, chocolates, and high fat ice cream will make your butt big and soft! If you want a toned butt I've seen women do squats and lunges at the gym.
