If Obam was not born on American soil or on an American protectorate or military zone....(Panama was such a zone when McCain was born) He can not be an American President. So McCain is legitimate. Why won't Obama just produce the goods? Why does his own Aunt in Kenya claim she was present at the birth? I as an American citizen would like to know the answer to these questions. It is very simple to reach into your wallet or safe or drawer and get the damn certificate and bring it to court. Why hasn't he just done that? I wonder.....

"In August 2008, Philadelphia attorney Philip Berg filed suit in U.S. District Court challenging Barack Obama's eligibility for the presidency on the grounds that Obama was actually born in Kenya (not Hawaii) and/or subsequently gave up his U.S. citizenship and thus does not qualify as a native-born citizen of the U.S. Lawsuits over candidates' eligibility are not uncommon: similar lawsuits (none of them successful), for example, have been filed challenging the citizenship status of John McCain (who was born in the Panama Canal Zone), challenging the Wyoming residency status of Dick Cheney (who was born in Wyoming but moved to Texas), and challenging the citizenship status of 1964 Republican presidential nominee Barry Goldwater (who was born in Arizona before that territory was admitted as a state)."

(points for brining this issue up.)

If this were the case, NO he would not be a eligible for president.
BUT, even IF it were found to be True, that he was in fact born in Kenya, its gotten to the point where it wouldn't matter, and no one would believe it and people would just say its part of some type of 'conspiracy theory', and he would totally get away with it.

It's been well established that he wasn't so this question constitutes libel.

but If he were born in Kenya then he couldn't. but he wasn't. so he can.

I'm assuming this is hypothetical. Yes, he is a naturalized citizen because one of his parents is an American. However, he would have to choose one nationality or the other, so if he chose Kenyan, then he wouldn't be a citizen.
