  • Is both an option? I'd go with a job I liked, as long as it paid decently. Happiness is more important that money. I guess it really depends on what the salaries are and how terrible the highly paid job is.
  • a job i liked. what's the point of having extra money if i'm going to waste a third of at least 30 years of my life working in some job i hate. course, the desriable thing to do is find a job you like that pays well, or a job that you like where you can move up in the ranks to higher paid positions through your hard work
  • A job that is highly paid. In the world today, you're screwed if you don't have money. You can always keep aside time for a hobby that you love.
  • Both would be ideal thanks. Personally i would go with the job i liked, life is more about happiness than wealth.
  • I actually do a job for money, so I would get the high paid one.
  • I have the second but intend to change it for the first
  • I've had jobs that paid well - in one case, exceedingly-well - for the field I'm trained in. The job that paid exceedingly-well was the most miserable work experience I've ever had and I do not exaggerate when I say that it squashed my soul. Go for the happiness. Money means nothing if you don't even have the spirit to enjoy it.
  • Both, as I find it rather hard to enjoy my job when my stomach is empty.
  • I would NEVER work at any job I did not like unless I was starving...in which any salary would seem high.
  • A job I like. A high salary would not be worth having to deal with people I can't stand and who can't stand me, or a job I considered unethical, etc.
  • I'd rather have a job I liked. Fortunately, I do. Even more fortunately, it pays very well, too.
  • Well, I'm middle of the road on this because I'm lucky and have a job that I enjoy and lets me take care of my family and buy them what they need. That is one of the reasons I stuck it out and worked to put myself through college so I could make that choice for myself. I'm not rich-- but certainly not poor. Don't know what job would be worth going to day in and day out for alot of money if you hated it. Thirty years of that will kill you too soon. It's also great to love what you do but you still have to eat!
  • Im going for both!
  • A job that I love (that at least meets my needs financially) Life is short and I can't take my bank account with me..so I'd better love and enjoy every day while I have it to partake of!
  • I would prefer a job I liked over pay 'cos I believe money isn't everything. I couldn't imagine going in to work every day to a job I disliked. I think it would become so stressful for me. Actually I have been in a similar situation before, but luckerily that was only temporary.
  • Rather have a job that I liked. You're job is a big part of your life. 5 out of 7 days a week. You should enjoy what you do.
