Yep, I was married to a one legged gal for thirty years. She was an AK, and she always took off her prosthesis before we got in bed, and we enjoyed sex in many positions. There were times she left it in the living room.

My advice is simply to ask her. There can be no better expert on her own sexuality.

I have twice had long term relationships with above knee amputees. My experience is that it would be silly, pointless, and distracting for her to wear her prosthesis. Removing it can be a nice intimate activity, if you are both so inclined, but remember that it is her decision.

As far as positions go, just go with whatever works and what pleases you both. It's not really different in principle than working out positions with any partner. In both cases we particularly enjoyed making love lying on our sides, with the woman's non-amputated leg on top.

Listen to your partner, relax, and have a wonderful time.
