My guy aways puts his finger in his nose. he doens't pull anythig out but it's gross. how would you bring this up to him? HELP

He wants you to break up with him. He probably got the idea from the Seinfeld episode where George does that to Susan and is up to his elbow in there

Ask him to stop. If he is unwilling, then don't date him anymore. It could be a test for him if he is right for you. If he is unwilling, well, then there will be other times that he will be unwilling in life. If he does stop for you, then he has a great spirit toword you and will be willing to be a great man. Don't base that completely on him picking his nose, look for other things that he could go without and see if he is willing to go without it for you.

Just tell him, "Would you mind not doing that in front of me? It really grosses me out." If he keeps it up get him some tissues, and the moment his finger starts heading toward his face without one make the universal maternal nagging sound: "Ah Ah Ah Ah Ah!!!!" Then if he can't take to the nagging tell his friends he's a nose picker, and that he cries during sad movie scenes.

it is gross. i would just flat out be blunt with him and ask him not to do that when your around because you dont find it "sexy" that should work.

Take a picture or video with your cell phone and show it to his buddies. The teasing should call to his attention that this is stupid behavior.

At first I thought the question was going somewhere else with the finger. Is he even doing it consciously. Just yank the finger out every time you catch him doing it. Should break the habit eventually.

Tell if he hit's oil you get half-then ask, with a smile on your face, if he knows he's doing it. Then, no matter what he says, forget it!

Dont say anything, he might just be itching it. Especially if he trims his nose hair (and even if he doesnt) it can tickle at times.

Even if you point it out to him he would still continue that. Normal behavior for most of the males. I think it helps them think better!LOL!

I'd make an appointment for allergy testing. Most likely his sinuses are uncomfortable and he doesn't know why. They may be swollen or dry, just enough to bother him. Often the cause is foods, rather than environmental allergens. This is an important issue to take care of. With the rise of serious staph infections, particularly MRSA, you want to get that habit broken. I'm seeing an infectious diseases specialist right now, as I get recurrent sinus infections and I'm now allergic to almost every antibiotic. The one thing he is drilling into me is DON'T TOUCH YOUR FACE, ESPECIALLY EYES, NOSE AND MOUTH. One other thing that might help him is the use of a sinus rinse, daily. Neil-med makes a sinus rinse bottle that I particularly like. They also make a chinese nasal pot. They are available at a lot of stores now, particularly Walgreens. You use them to rinse your sinuses with sterile saline daily, and it rinses out all the allergens that might be irritating them.
