Help answer this question below.
His viewpoints and issues more closely match mine.
I wrote in Dr. Ron Paul on my absentee ballot. My reasons?
1) Obama has said nothing to make me wish to cast a vote for him.
2) McCain has said nothing to make me wish to cast a vote for him.
3) I am absolutely tired of voting for "the lesser of the evils.
4) For anyone paying attention, both of the dominant parties have a vested interest in keeping themselves in office, not doing the peoples business.
5) Our liberties guaranteed by the Constitution of the United States, and including the Bill of Rights are being eroded-if you want specific examples, it would take a few hours to type them all out.
I voted for real change, not the same thing, which I believe the two candidates from the Democratic, and Republican parties cannot deliver.
My main reason was abortion!
My opinion is that if you don't want a child don't have sex.
I was going to write in Ron Paul, but I had to vote McCain. If the democrats had someone running better that what they had. I would have wrote in Ron Paul!
You know I am pissed at my self for not writing in Ron Paul!

Should AHNULD run for President? Sure he wasn't born here, but at least he's been honest about it.

Fair enough. I can't say that I agree, but you have a valid reason. Plus 2.
by jackpipe30 on October 31st, 2008
Guess I'd already given you a Plus 2...oh well.
by jackpipe30 on October 31st, 2008
Thank you Jackpipe, unfortunately we wont agree on everything.

No, but at least you aren't voting on the basis of party, race, BS lies in email, or any of the myriad of stupid reasons people have for voting either way. I cannot fault someone for looking at the issues and determining that one candidate matches their values better than the other...that's the way it is supposed to work.
by jackpipe30 on October 31st, 2008
I agree, I have done a lot of research on both parties.
by Sweet T on October 31st, 2008
I'm kinda jaded, so my feelings are that I will vote for the one who is likely to do the least damage. I really wish that there were a viable 3rd party.
by jackpipe30 on October 31st, 2008
I wish that every election, LOL.
