I use Stumbleupon, personally. It works like a cross between Digg and a blog, where you can thumb sites up, but you can also write reviews which get collected on your homepage for others to peruse. The most interesting part of Stumbleupon is the "stumble" button, which allows you to jump to a random page tailored to your particular interests.
Is it more popular than Digg? Hard to say. It's a lot more fun, anyway.

on the contrary, these are sites that are up and coming... Digg is losing a lot of credibility and quickly losing authority. Their banning of users for no reason started a lot of drama, and if you have been on in the last few months, you might have noticed that stories making the front page are submitted by the same people- people that work at or are associated with Digg as a "business"
