A couple of things Trolls are not a big deal aggravating but they would not stop me.

I would say that if people kept on rating me horribly for my opinions. I enjoy this site tremendously and I think sharing my opinions is fun. I don't know why people get rated down for them, unless they are completely rude or completely disgusting.

If I got a job. I would think about it all day long though. This may happen very soon too.

right now I am temporarily limited so I have time to spend. After I have my surgery I will probably go back to work...that is what I want to do anyway.

If every single person on that list were to leave the site forever, then I might consider leaving. So needless to say, I probably won't be leaving any time soon.

If AB becomes primarily a social networking site with grammar, spelling, questions, etc resembling MySpace, I would stop coming.

-If it was taken over by a group that was thoroughly intolerant -Too many kids -People who cannot just let it go really annoy me That's about it, not much else really gets to me at this point.

1) I do not envisage to leave at the moment, as long as I feel helpful and get some positive feedback. 2) Answerbag has been changing a lot and I suppose many people could not cope with that. For instance there is more publicity on the site as for 6 month, as I started. 3) However addictive you find the site, it could also be that a moment comes where you find it boring. Maybe also because you don't have any new ideas yourself. 4) Some people have been harrassed by others, the question is, as always, were the good people or the bad people leaving. I am afraid, both kind of people. Maybe they also have bad experiences with the staff, but I cannot prove this. 5) Maybe you have set yourself some goals and as you have reached them, you loose interest. 6) I was talking here about the very active Answerbaggers who post more than 5 submissions a day. There are also some people who are not very active and, it seems, a huge majority who are just asking a few questions and are never seen again. 7) No one really leaves AB. Your submissions are staying here and you can usually come back anytime. At least one user asked for their submission to be removed, but this does not happen often, I think. You have also the possibility to start officially a new account (Bagicide) or to do the same unofficially...

Questions Block (instead of writers block), they just can't take the pain of having nothing to say or nothing to ask....

I know how it's possible and I understand why someone would want to leave Answerbag.

1. People realize they are spending too much time here and not enough time taking care of their real lives. 2. Boredom. If it begins to get monotonous here, it makes me feel like taking abreak. 3. Bad trolls and harassment from annoying ABers. 4. Not getting answers to questions consistently. 5. A change in their lives, such as a new job or meeting some special someone.

I could think of 100 reasons why and how. I will not bore you with them but it is very possible. AB is a website not a drug. The addiction is easier to beat.

Too many stupid questions, too much "fluff". Its getting close :-)

If AB staff started treating the members like Yahoo Answers staff treats theirs, I would be gone in a hot heartbeat.

If all my AB friends left. If I had no time to spend here. (I might get a life!) If AB gets so buggy that I can't use it, it's pretty close to that now. If I meet a special person and she keeps me too busy to AB.
