I found an installer(offline) for Google Chrome browser. Why doesn't Chrome just
have one as part of the application? The app worked fine.

You're reading Can anyone tell me how secure the "Avant" interface for Internet Explorer is? I used to use it and I'm wondering.
Comments
I did mention that it is an "interface" for IE in the question. Maybe the question wasn't clear enough. What I'm wondering is if Avant has anything about it that "plugs" the inherent security holes that are in IE. There are plenty of add-ons and plug-ins that can take care of privacy issues right in IE, but do nothing for the holes that are wide open while you're on line.
