Help answer this question below.

I got my tongue pierced about 2 weeks ago..and now i have a redish hard bump around the top of the piercing it doesnt hurt or anything but what could this be? would it eventually go away?

    It might be scar tissue. When I got my tongue pierced though, I didn't get any type of hard bump. Have you been using mouthwash throughout the day? My piercer recommended I use anything without alcohol and told me to especially stay away from Listerine, which has a very high alcohol content and tends to dry out the piercing, which really hurts. You should go get it looked at by the guy who pierced it before it gets infected.
