Why, after a year and a half on AB would you reveal that? And what type of response did you expect?

Being convicted has nothing to do with it, it's the act itself and as you've already heard from others, yes you are a rapist.

That doesn't mean you haven't led a good life since, but it does mean that you dodged incarceration and for that you should thank your lucky stars.

If you raped somebody you are a rapist, in just the same way as if you have stolen you are a thief. You would just be one of many un-convicted rapists.

I gotta give you props, clever question.

The answer to your question is yes. You're also still a rapist if you didn't actually, say, impregnate anybody (kill anybody). You're still a rapist if you teach at a state university. No question there.

But, one must question if that makes hundreds, perhaps thousands, of students rapists... or if the entire university is an institution of rape.

Oh, and one must also question if you've ever bought a Pepsi, if that makes Pepsi an advocate of rape.

Of course it does, just as if you murdered someone 20 years ago you're a murderer.

These terms don't indicate a present profession or hobby, but merely the fact that you at least once committed the act. The change in focus over the last 40 years to psychologically disturbed, pathological habitual malefactors has confused the issue and the terminology, however. Now if you only committed one rape and that was 20 years ago, then you're not a SERIAL rapist, but you're still a rapist; and if you never murdered anyone else you're not a spree killer, homicidal maniac, or professional hitman, but still a murderer.

Yes, you would be. So long as you know you've done it, you are a rapist. You will label yourself as one, even though the world doesn't, and that's only because you've concealed it so well and for so long.
All this is hypothetical, of course, and I give you the benefit of the doubt, of which you have now sown the seeds. Lol

If you know in your mind you raped someone and accept it as that then there is very little question to what you are.

Although, you are not a CONVICTED rapist, you undoubtedly will deliver a more fitting sentence for your crime to yourself, from yourself. this is law and can not be avoided.

No matter whether the law says so, a rapist is still a rapist, a murderer still a murderer, a thief, a thief, etc. The law is written by people. The law can change or be wrong but right remains right and wrong remains wrong.

Yea, that makes you a rapist. Just because you got away with it in court, doesn't mean you didn't rape. An acquittal in NO WAY absolves you of guilt

Most states but not all states have statutes of limitations ranging from five (5) to ten (10) years. Though, more and more states are beginning to adopt DNA Exceptions to their statutes of limitations, reflecting the increasing use of DNA evidence to identify perpetrators long after a crime has been committed.

If a person raped someone 20 years ago but was never convicted in court, that person may still one day be convicted of rape. Though, regardless of conviction, a person that had performed the act of rape is still a rapist.

Amends could be made by going up to the kitchen counter standing as close as you can, grabbing your johnson and stretching it out on top as far as you can. Make sure the bag of jewels are at there too.....and a swift movement with a sharp knife or cleaver as close to your abdomen as you can will take care of it.
