Is a low-cost speaker amplifier available without the stereo radio function in the same package? I want to connect the audio output of a Bose radio to 4 external speakers and don't want to spend an arm and a leg on it.

Yes just make sure the correct Ohms and base RMS is correct. Otherwise speakers will deteriorate faster without those two things in equilibrium. It may work for a while, but also if you overpower or underpower it can blow the speakers.
