  • I never got round to reading the whole thing, but is satan in the bible? Pretty sure he is. Him, he's aa right laugh! (joke)
  • The first record that I can find in the Bible of the mention of someone getting drunk is after the Flood, Noah planted a vineyard, “began drinking of the wine and became intoxicated.” This happening is recorded in the Scriptures to show how Noah’s curse on Canaan came to be uttered. (Ge 9:20-27)
  • As best I can recall, the Genesis account of Lot becoming drunk and impregnating his daughter's is the second account of drunkeness in the Bible. Gen 19:33–36 (Perryman is correct about the first.)
  • No one saw that the very beginning of the Bible has an example of drunkeness: Genesis 2:25 "The man and his wife were both naked, and they felt no shame." Clearly they are both drunk. Then they sober up: Genesis 3:7 "Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they realized they were naked" I would tend to assume that no one answering this question has ever been very drunk before. Edit: Oh come on! The rumor that Christians have no sense of humor is actually true?
