Can someone who is not a virgin become Mormon?

      Yes, definitely.

      I suppose it is generally presumed that anyone who is — or has ever been — married is not a virgin, and certainly married and divorced persons are allowed to convert to Mormonism.

      Of course, the church disapproves of sexual relations outside of marriage, and a person who is currently involved in such would probably not be allowed to join at that time.  However, one can always cease to engage in such activity, repent, and then be accepted into the church.

      I suppose a good way to put it would be this way:  In order to join the church, you must be living your life, at that time, in a manner that is reasonably consistent with the teachings of the church.  It is one's current behavior — not one's past behavior — that is important.

    Yes.

    To become Mormon, you meet with the missionaries. They will teach you the basic principles of the Mormon faith. They will ask you to make some commitments (such as being morally chaste). Once the teachings are complete (usually about six visits), you will be interviewed by another missionary who will make sure you were taught everything the missionaries were supposed to teach and that you understand the commitments you made.

    It is also strongly encouraged that you participate in Mormon church services while investigating the faith.
