My first reaction would be to try and find ways to them.

I'd be extremely depressed on the day he/she told me and happy as hell the next day...just trying to stay in sync. Only kidding...I'd make sure he/she could afford/get the proper treatment/medication.

To show them as much support as I could!

The same as if this person told me he/she found out he/she had diabetes, arthritis, heart disease or whatever. Having it diagnosed I'm sure would be beneficial..there are meds one can take to control it. It would explain certain behavioral patterns that might have been confusing in the past. :)

I would only be disappointed if they came to me and admitted that they had bi-coastal disorder. ;-)

Mt reaction would be to be understanding as I myself have it as well.

Well it's NOT like they had a choice in it, So, Diet, Exercise, Daily Vitamins, avoid white sugar, alcohol and especially drug of any kind and don't get stressed out as it all complicates the hell out of everything ... ~Nemo~
