Help answer this question below.

MY poor litttle budie just died leaving one it loved behind- my budgies are four years old. Will a new baby budgie be okay or do i have to wait and fid a female or the oppsite sex for my older budgie.

    When my older one died, the other one was depressed, but my family just paid a lot of attention to it, and it got over it fairly well, and trusts me a lot now.

    Well,,, following the many advices from experts. I bought a new budgie the day my old one died and it was a little awkward at first and they were freaked out a little but did not fight. i would definatly suggest getting two cages and puttng thm side by side. It gives the budgies more things to do by exploring and what not. and everyone is happier. Thanks for all the advice.

    get a new one oppsite sex he will die without a partner they need company. just start out with them in cages side by side. if they get along and act as if they want to be together give them time in the same cage each day.

    Be careful. When we tried to introduce a new parakeet, the original one tried to kill it. We tried over and over, with no success. Ask a pet store person for advice, but be prepared for a fight.
