Yes, some guys it can "Turn off". Everyone I know (including myself) would rather see a well trimmed and taken care of area rather than a neglected area. It shows you actually care about how it looks, smells, etc... Nothing worse than seeing Buckweet in a headlock and having to dig through the forest for what you're trying to get to.

If it's out of control it's a turn off for me. Well, trimmed/groomed or waxed/shaved areas are what I like. It's not a one way street either, I shave/groom as well.
