Question

Help answer this question below.

Every time I log into Windows XP I get an alert box warning me that winlogon.exe is corrupted. If I close the alert box my computer reboots. The windows registry is ok. Do you know how I can fix this problem short of re-installing XP?

Go to Start, Program Files, Accessories, system restore, then set the calendar date back to when your computer was working normally. This should fix the problem.
If it does not fix it, then try this:
Put in your windows XP disk and boot up on it. It will give you the options to repair the system. You will not loose any data or programs!
