In many cases, I think that these families have an absent father. When men shirk their family responsibilities, women have to do the job of both parents, working full time, living in poverty, and the resulting stress can cause lots of problems in the family that is left behind. Some children exploit this and act out, to say the least.
I think in many of these dysfunctional families the Father got the hell out. Perhaps some do not want to wash their dirty laundry on national television.

Do you believe the crazy teen girls on the Maury Show that TRY to get pregnant are REALLY trying? I heard 1 girl say that she was taking fertility drugs to get pregnant....but still hasn't! How is that possible? Can a young girl be infertile?

Can the courts compel you to get a paternity test on the Maury Povich show? If not, should they be able to?

You're reading What is with it with all these Maury Povich shows about parents having trouble with their kids and they have only the mother and the problem kid on the show? Why not the father too?
