  • It seems to me that it is more a craving than hunger. It can be from low blood sugar and it can also be in the mind. I remember living in Pietersburg South Africa and it was very warm at night. I always used to get up at midnight to drink a glass of water. I woke up with this "thirst". Then I went to Holland to visit my parents. I slept in the attic and it was in the middle of the winter, and freezing cold. The first night I woke op thirsty and drunk a glass of icecold water and tried to sleep again. The next night I woke up thirsty but refused to get out of my warm bed. Thereafter I did not wake up again. Try a tablespoon full of honey with some cinnamon.
  • Go to sleep with an IV
