    Helpful and kind to his mother and the women in his family & life.

    A man who can cry and show his emotions. (not a cry baby though)

    A man who does not allow things or money to alter his emotions.

    A man who can love himself, his family and you.

    A man who does not need to be seen or heard to know he is a great guy.

    A man who allows a woman to be a woman.

    good manners
    respect towards people other than just the woman of interest
    honesty
    kindness
    humility
    good dress - or at least not a complete slob
    good personality
    well humored
    good temper

    Not being afraid to cry . We always hear that a "real man" should not cry. In my opinion if a man cries at his newborn babies birth, from the death of a loved one ect. then that shows his true character that he has a big heart and feelings.

    A gentleman to me means:
    To always be polite, treats a woman well ( even to opening door's to let her go through first )
    Be loyal and loving.
    Plus no swearing in front of the ladies
    " OH " and always say your cooking is the best ( grin)
