You're reading What kind of pet/pets do you have and do you recommend getting one?

Thanks for the tips. I work at a dog grooming shop so I know a good bit about dogs and plan to get one someday, but I want to choose carefully and make sure its the right one for me. Thats why I wanted to get some other peoples opinions on types that they think make good pets.

Didn't mean to harp. I just get really upset when people get pets and then they get sick and they say "I can't afford vet care". (see a LOT of that on AB). Chis are wonderful lap dogs..very compassionate and caring but they do have a lot of health issues. Do you live in an apt or house? are you restricted in size? might want to ask another question or kind of let people know what you might be looking for. Again sorry for the "harping"

Its fine. I completely understand and agree with you. I have a fairly large house and plenty of space. I don't plan on getting one to soon, I just wanted to get some ideas.
