Fridays. Not sure why. It's all crap. :)
Glorified fast food yo...
Ruby Tuesdays.
Since Chilis is the only restaurant of the 4 within 100 miles of me..I will go with Chili's. They do have good food--just wish they were not so expensive
They are all horrible in my opinion. Over priced fast food that takes forever to get and you have to tip. If I HAD to pick one, I guess it would be Chilis since it's the closest to where I live.
Applebees!
Chilis for the food, but Ruby Tuesday is more kid friendly.
TGI Fridays by far
Applebees.
Friday's
TGI Fridays
Applebees!!
I've been to all but TGI Fridays, so far I love Applebees the most
chilis and I love the molten chocolate cake!!!!!
Applebees
Ok that takes care of 4 nights where do we eat the other three? LOL:):):)
Is there much to choose between sit-down fast food?
Not TGI they were ranked the dirtiest food chain in america a couple years back and still may be. I like Chili's out of those choices although i am not big on that type of restaraunt. Over priced and cooked lousy.. I suggest watching the movie "Waiting" ;)
how about Mr.B's it is so amazing
Applebees!
Fridays!
I love Applebee's the most, but my husband doesn't like it.
So my 2nd favorite is Chili's. He loves Chili's.
I will pass on all four... The TGI Fridays and Chili's in the mall are out.. they don't give a crap.. they think they have a captive audience. The free standing Chili's turned my salmon into jerky and would not set foot back there. Ruby Tuesday shut their doors suddenly in June and Applebee's is too far away and noisy with little kids.
I will eat at home.
any of them...as long as it is salad or a burger...anything else is gross to me from those places.

Chili's for me
applebees..their mini bacon cheeseburgers are sooo good omg. as the menu describes- "Three juicy, 100% Angus beef burgers topped with melted cheddar cheese and hearty Applewood smoked bacon. Finish them as you please with shredded lettuce and sliced tomato." i think applebees has the best hands down food of all time. so many choices, just a cornocoupia of foodie delights!
I think that Chilis has the best food. There always seems to be a line at TGI Fridays. Applebees actually has given me some bad memories (things happening in my life at the time, not the restaurant itself). I have yet to try a Ruby Tuesday.
Ruby tuesdays
Never been to Ruby Tuesdays, but for the rest or them, Chilis. They have great burgers. Fridays has some good stuff too like Jack Daniel's chicken strips.
Ruby Tuesday.
Ruby Tuesday
I'd say the food at Chilis is better than Applebees and TGI Fridays. I've never been to a Ruby Tuesday. I would say that, overall, none of them would be my first choice for dinner.
However, TGI Fridays usually has a good happy hour by my house.
Want to go get some drinks???
Ruby Tuesdays!!!!!!
I h8 TGI fridays,,,
I <3 chilli's 2 but ruby tuesdays is awesome=]
I love chili's
I would prefer to go to chilis. Applebees has horrible food and even worse customer service
I'm in the mood for riblets at Applebees.
#2 would be TGIF, #3 would be Chilis.
If you added the New England restaurant chain Ninety-nine Restaurant, they would have won.

we only have an Applebee's here.. never been to Ruby Tuesday's... so I'd say Chili's...
btw... you should include Red Robin.
Chilis!
Chilis. They are usually the cleanest.
Chilis, like the food, but love the 2 for 1 drinks.
Depends on my mood, but Chili's soup and salad with bottomless chips and salsa is my favorite meal.
TGI Fridays!
Applebees
I think they're all fairly crappy, but I have fond memories of eating at Fridays with my parents when it was a relatively unknown chain, with locations only in a handful of major US cities. Now it's like, ubiquitous, and I feel the quality of the food and atmosphere has suffered greatly.
If I had to choose based solely on my enjoyment of the food... I think I'd go with Chilis.
Lets go with TGI Fridays.
I like all of them, but tend to go to Applebees most often as there is one just a few blocks from my house.
I am going TGI Fridays. Ruby Tuesdays is good if you go to a good Ruby Tuesdays.
I like them all personally. It is all up to what you like. This is the type of question that each will get people that like one over the others.
crapplebees shouldnt even be on this list.
it goes
ruby tues
tgi
chili
Applebees

I want to get a job waitressing, and although I have great skills, I have no experience and I am having no luck even getting interviews.

You're reading TGI Fridays, Chilis, Ruby Tuesday or Applebees?

Pretty good summary of the situation even though we just had dinner at Chilis and Scott works at Applebees;)

Yeah. We all go to all of them, but it is still all chain crap. lol. What did you get at Chilis?
by Sixty B - Commander Topcoat on October 19th, 2008
I got the mini buffalo chicken sandwiches and Scott got the honey chipotle chicken. We were just in a chicken frame of mind. Stuff will probably put us in an early grave but it tasted pretty good;)

It's laidback which is cool. Sometimes we enjoy places just because it is familiar and predictable. Probably why it's good to work there, too. I was in the restaurant business. Small, family business. Food was excellent quality. We were told how authentic and amazing it was. But it didn't get the bills paid or market a far-enough reaching crowd, and so we had to close it. See? I would have done much better working a chain... people are just magnetically attracted to them!
by Sixty B - Commander Topcoat on October 19th, 2008
Yes, the familiar and predictable are a very big part of the draw. In terms of working there though, Scott runs hot and cold. Like everything else it has its good points and bad. It's just a shame we all couldn't have been born rich instead of beautiful;)

awwwww.... well, tips can be amazing money. And the experience you get in terms of customer service and being quick on your feet... that can go very far. I only had that work experience when I got the job I am at now, and I swear, it could be a very positive thing. It's amazing how lame your tables could be sometimes though... UGH!
by Sixty B - Commander Topcoat on October 19th, 2008
Scott manages the kitchen but I hear all sorts of tales about the back and front of the house. It's like a regular Peyton Place in there. I don't know how he doesn't strangle some of the customers either;)

My dad is a chef. Managing a kitchen is really hard!!!!!!! People quit all the time and tensions run extremely high!!! Yeah, I think that the restaurant business should be some serious reality television!!
by Sixty B - Commander Topcoat on October 19th, 2008
It's a very popular venue for reality television. I keep telling Scott he should try out for Hell's Kitchen and go toe to toe with Gordon Ramsey;)
by gtravels loves her life penguin on October 19th, 2008
Gordon is a jackass. LOL
by Sixty B - Commander Topcoat on October 19th, 2008
I'm sure he puts much of that on for television. But Scott says a lot of the reason he (Gordon) looks older than his years is because of that stress in the kitchen;)
by gtravels loves her life penguin on October 19th, 2008
HA! I agree with that. Kitchen years is like Dog years, sometimes.
