No. I turn off as many electronic items as I can before leaving the house.

I don't leave my television on a lot because it takes a lot of electricity. Now, if my dog is home alone, then i leave it on.

Never. I would rather save the electricity.

If everyone in the house is leaving, I often leave on TV on to keep the dog company, because he does not like being alone. I always choose the animal planet channel. It is going to get worse now, because my grandson is moving out, and now there will only be two of us living here. I don't go out too much, because Hubby enjoys the shopping on his way home from work.

No, because that is a waste of electricity and $. If I do it, it is because my TV and cable box often do not shut off in unison, and I forget that, which really sucks.

i would leave it on as well as some lights. it makes thieves think your home and wont dare to enter. thats what i do if i have to go away... but im usually at home with some weapons, so if anyone did try anything, the would have a nasty surprise. >:)

If I know that I will return in an hour or so, I will leave it on. It uses more energy turning it on than leaving it on, unless you are gone for a number of hours.
