At the moment it depends to a great extent on which area of the country you live in, as there are some areas where the Lib Dems are quite successful. If you live in one of those areas every vote is crucial to every candidate. If you live in a predominantly rural area in most parts of the country a vote for any candidate other than the Tory is probably wasted, as would be a vote for anybody other than the Labour candidate in most northern inner city and industrial areas. It is in the suburbs and dormitory towns of "Middle England" that General elections are won and lost. I feel exactly the same now as I did just before the current government came to power - it's time for a change. I don't think having the same party in power for longer than two terms is good for the country, regardless of which party it is.

I vote for someone who is in keeping with my own views, to be honest with everybody labour appeal to the working class, and the working class should relaise that they owuld probably get more ou of the tories if they came into power.

No, not anymore... at the moment we are well and truly a three party system, and it cannot be a wasted vote to vote Lib Dem due to the dominance they have recently displayed over the Labour party. Further, in certain parts of the country independent candidates can easily win, UKIP can easily win... that party may not win in the grand scheme of things, but you have a local respresentative to promote your interests. I am of the opinion that, regardless of the strength of the Lib Dems, a vote is never a wasted vote. If for instance you vote for the Green party, or the Peace Party - neither have a chance of winning - but you, alone with everybody else who voted for those parties - have shown the big three the kind of policies that you want to see, and what may make them even more popular. Voting for any party, or even spoling a ballot, is YOUR way of showing what you want. I do not vote tactically as such. I vote for the party that best matches my interests in the local elections, MEP elections etc. When it comes to general I will vote for any of the big three. Depending on my feelings throughout the campaign. I don't think the smaller parties would have the ability to run the country.
