Dislikes: snow, cold, fireplace fires, short days, gloomy days, Christmas ads everywhere. Likes: the snow does help with the water table, I have to give it that.

I love the snow and some of the cold. I love the light coming through the leafless trees. I love the smell of the air. I love the house being heated by wood. I love eating hardy meals and comfort foods. I love wearing bulky sweaters in bright colors. I love snuggling in bed on cold evenings. I love drinking cocoa! I don't like the shorter days and I HATE ice! I don't enjoy having all my plants indoors and not being able to garden outside.

I like the look of new fallen snow in the morning. I like Christmas and New Years parties. I like My job that takes me to live in a Hotel for 3 months. I like getting paid lots of overtime for my work. I like driving a company car and driving test cars sliding all around on winter test track. I hate shoveling/blowing snow. I hate the look of melted muddy snow after a warm spell I hate Christmas bills I hate driving my own car in the snow where other idiots can whack me. I hate worring about my kids and wife driving in the snow. I hate being away from the family for 3 months.

I have a love/hate relationship with winter. I love the holidays nad spending time with loved ones. I love to VISIT the snowy places, stay in cabins by a fire and go snowboarding. I hate living in a cold place where the wind makes you feel like your cheeks/face/fingers will break off if you touch them. Or the slushy ice/rain that never stops...

I like to watch it snow, from inside. I hate the cold. I love Christmas time, but hate the time change, I hate leaving for work in the dark, and coming home in the dark. I guess I should move somewhere warm all the time.

Winter is when my spirit comes alive... Unfortunately I dont get to experience it here. Here, its just like a mild passing by of the white cape of winter. She never quite touches us this far down south. *Sigh.

I don't like the really cold temperatures and the shortened dark days. But everything else I love. Snow, icicles, quiet, light, playing outside, cuddling inside, baking good stuff indoors. I love comfort food and sweaters and wood fires.

likes of winter - there is an air of happiness i think. also we have a xmas market and shows here. i also like the weather most of the time dislikes - snow to a degree. ice cos its a pain and also sometimes the temp. in shops you get alot of ignorant people more than usual.

Like : Snow at Christmastime, Christmas decorations and lights, Christmas itself Dislike: Short, dark, days with wimpy or nonexistent sunshine. Having to bundle up in layers and dress the kids in all that too. (Makes us late and we lose gloves etc all the time) Seasonal affective disorder due to too much darkness. Not being able to jog, bike etc. outside without freezing, thus gaining weight I'll have to get off the next spring. Having to go feed my horse in the dark when it's only 5:30 p.m. Undecorating after Christmas. Overall, I just don't like winter anytime after Christmas!

None really. I love the winter. The more extreme the weather, the more I like it, and I love being out in it too.

I dislike wintertime because I don't like the cold. The only thing I like about the wintertime is Christmas and Christmas trees and fireplaces.

There isn't much that I like about winter. December's fun because of the holidays, but then it gets old really fast. I hate the cold. Positively hate it. I experience Raynaud's phenomenon, which means my fingers and turn white, then red, in the cold. They hurt, too.

Likes: It's quieter in general, it's not hot and humid, no bugs about. Dislikes: When it's REALLY cold (like below zero), dry indoor air, static electricity in clothing, heavy clothing, driving in snow, shoveling snow, getting snowballs thrown at me.

Snow, cold, heating bills, heavy clothes--I hate everything about winter. I love the beach, bikinis, warm sunshine, flowers, baby animals, etc. and you just don't get any of that in NH during the winter.

The initial shock of getting out of the hot shower to be blasted by cold air, even if the heat is on!

I like sitting in a cosy pub with a log fire blazing, drinking Baileys and talking to my s/o. I like being wrapped up warm and going for wet and windy walks across the moors with a flask of soup. I dislike being cold in bed. I dislike having to get up in the dark to go to work. I dislike getting home from work in the dark.

I like the quiet of a newly fallen clean snow. Sitting by a hot wood stove in my easy chair where i usually fall asleap. Jumping on the snowmobile and raise hell! I like going for walks in the woods and realizing there are no bugs. But after awhile the things i don't like are shoveling snow, dirty snow, carrying firewood, cold house in the morning, cleaning chimney and furnace, and finally, slipping on ice and falling on my ass:(

I hate to shovel snow.(arthritis) I don't like the cold and ice. I don't like the power going out because of ice. I feel really sad when I read of winter accidents. I love the look of freshly fallen snow. I like to photograph snow as it falls. I like the look of sunlight through icicles. I like the look of the sun on the crispy snow(it glitters) I enjoy the quietness. I love the look of the stars on a crisp winter night. I love to see tasteful Christmas lighting and decorations. I love having more family time. The look on a child's face on his/her first Christmas. Spending a night with hubby watching movies. Hot chocolate. Don't laugh but I love oatmeal on a cold day. Spending more time doing crafts. I guess there's more to like than dislike when we really take time to think about it!

I dont like short days and freezing weather. But I think snow is beautifull and Christmas time is wonderfull.
