Two thoughts, given its age. Have you tried cleaning the negative battery cable where it grounds on the engine? Frequently they are attached where they will get oil on them, and then the ground becomes unreliable. My second thought is the coil or coil wire. The plastic connectors can become brittle with age, leading to the spark being unreliable. Also, how fast is it turning over. Sometimes when the engine starts getting tight with age, the starter can't turn it over fast enough for it to catch. If the battery is low, it can have the same effect.
you might have a plug thats missing or not gaped right

You're reading I have a 1994 gmc jimmy wont start, changed cap & rotor ,new plugs, checked plug wires ,have spark, changed fuel filter, checked modulor oka, turn it over it just pops
