As long as you have ovaries, menopause will eventually occur as it is a hormonal change they originate. Removing the ovaries causes it instantaneously.

yes my mom did as long as you still have an ovary you will still go through the hell of menopause. I soooo dread it my mom went through it for 10 years good luck.

XOSMperfect, I will give you my stock answer. "It Depends". What do you consider a 'partial hysterectomy?' Is it loss of your ovaries? I have lost my testicles and I'm not ashamed of that. What do you consider a 'partial hysterectomy'? I am, by definition 'partly castrated' because I have nohting but my penis. Further explanation is needed.
