  • If you live somewhere that gets that cold you have a few options. You can give them fresh water a few times a day. You can keep a light above their waterer so that it doesn't freeze. You can put them indoors somewhere, even a garage or shed and keep a light above them for extra warmth. We used to have many rabbits outside in a large airy polebarn. It would get below freezing each night during the winter and often would stay below freezing for 2-3 weeks at a time. We simply went outside and gave them warm water 3 times a day. We also gave them small amounts of fresh veggies twice a day. Never had a problem with the cold because they stayed dry and had no drafts. But in colder weather, I would try to have them inside somewhere and under lights or with body heat from other animals to keep it around freezing or above.
  • You can get bottle warmers from pets at home and probably other shops, and they have cage covers as well. Im saving up to get some as its been raining alot and ruining their beds and cages, just using sheets at the min. its keeps them cool in the summer and warm in the winter :) HTH
  • well before you had a rabbits they where living outside in the wild , to keep warm the lived under ground. if you put them in a concrete rabbit latch one a clean straw bed they can survive - 10 but if any colder you need to keep the latch indoors so it stays around -4
  • If they have acces to snow[it falls on there cage] just let them eat/drink that. IU do tht for mine in the winter and their fine.
