She didn't make the connection? Bullshit!!! She's a racist and a coward.
As much as i dislike Obama and his stance on the issues i would have to agree that is indeed racist.
It's blatantly racist and speaks volumes about the people who do such things. It's very representative of the core of American mentality
I'm a bit embarassed to admit that I didn't know that watermelon and chicken had anything to do with black stereotyping until a few years ago. However, given the nature of the presentation (fake money with all three on it as well, I'd call bullshit. If she just passed the letter on, perhaps she genuinely did not get it. If she created the letter, there is no way she did not "make the connection".
OMG! ROFLMFAO!!! God, that's funny! : D
If she didn't make the connection, then SHAME on her. As a matter of fact, if she DID make the connection, SHAME on her!
It's extremely racist and she's not fessing up about it. Some people enjoy hiding behind the guise of ignorance.
Dah!! is she dumb or what ... Hell ya that's racist!!
I haven't seen the letter, but those are some pretty negative (and very well-known) stereotypes of African Americans, so yes, I'd say it is racist.
It's big time b/s!!!!!
The only racial African American stereotype I had ever heard from the list is fried chicken. I had no idea about the other two. I thought beer and watermelon were making fun of hillbillies/country folk. Either way, she probably had some sort of idea that there was more to it than just a bunch of random items.
I won't judge her but I would see it as racist.
Yes. Of course it's a deliberate racial slur. It's even more cowardly to try and feign innocence.
I haven't seen it, but if it contains those items, it is definitely trying to portray the stereotype of african americans. I'm not sure if that is considered racist or just ignorant for stereotyping.
I prefer the $3 with Obama in Arab headgear with a camel.
She's full of crap. It isn't racist to see it. It is racist to make it, publish it, and want to see it. If she's so stupid she doesn't make the connection she should be institutionalized.
Didn't draw the connection - really? Another example why just because a person can do something - in this case type; doesn't mean she should. Either b.s. or a s. head.
Is it racist? Of course not. I believe the actual word you are looking for is: "biggoted".
What happened to California being a "liberal" state? To answer the question of course it's BS, she knew what she was doing!
So..what was her purpose then? Of course it's racist/bigotted and evil. Many of these people don't think at all..they simply follow their guru talkinghead spinmeisters..whatever these slimeballs decree, well, that is what you hear repeated by rote 24/7 by the water carriers. But I have a theory..all the people that take joy in this crap are slowing rotting away inside..a little bit of soul, a tiny bit of heart, a lot of integrity. Before they know it, there will be nothing left inside..an empty shell..a zero. So when I see that crap, I know people who promulgate it are killing themselves..only they just don't realize it! :)
No, its not racist. It's just food. It has nothing to do with racism or a person's character. Get over yourself and get over it.
Do you think it's racist to offer someone a "Sioux Indian Seven Course Meal" then give them a six-pack and a puppy?
"Republican Racism: Obama Bucks...disgraceful!"

Whoever made it is a piece of racist shit, but I could see where someone who wasn't even thinking in the terms of racism could make a mistake like that. They would have to be pretty dense, though. For the record, I am a McCain supporter, but whoever made that is indeed a loser.
I feel sorry for her that she is so small that and mind is so warped.
I call bulls**t.
That's the dumbest crock of bull I have ever seen. They could at least be witty, anyone remember the Bill Clinton "Sex" dollar bill? Now that was funny. This $#!%, this $#!% isn't funny.
I see the stereotypical racist implication. but as a white guy I like all three items, so whats the point?
I'm having chicken for dinner, and watermelon for dessert tonight, really, and I used to like to drink loads, gallons even, of beer. I never saw any newsletter as you describe, but seeing many people of all different races and backgrounds and ethnic groups could and have enjoyed that very meal many and many a times, it simply can't be racist.
I am whitey Mcwhiterson And I LOVE chicken, watermelon and BEER....Black, WHite, blue, green, It's all good
But it was probably meant to be racist. But who am I to judge if it was or not. Just want the chicken watermelon and beer
He wasn't holding a fawty ounce? then it's not racist
The worst kind of racist...one who hasn't even got the guts to be open about it.
There is no connection. People take things like they want to it does not matter how you put it. One can turn it around to make anything out of it. This is what is happening here. When it comes to Obama it is racial because if you are white and not kin an like him he make it look like this. The race for president has nothing to do with racism it is who is the best person for the job. I vote neither put Palin in and we will be great.
Not beer... it's MALT LIQUOR.
That is absolutely racist.
Should AHNULD run for President? Sure he wasn't born here, but at least he's been honest about it.

And Obama's wife is a pure black separatist! Is that racist or what?
by Anonymous on October 17th, 2008
Maybe. I'd like to read that thesis she wrote in college. It still doesn't make it right to stereotype an entire race.

If someone had put McCain on a $1 bill with lobster, white wine, and wearing a tuxedo would that be racist? People need to get over themselves.

I don't care who you vote for. There's no need to take a cheap shot at someone's race and then pussy out by saying, she didn't get the connection. You KNOW that's bullshit.
