I adopted a tank from a friend and it seems to be stained with what looks like lime-scale. how can i remove it?

    The best method that I know of is to wipe the sides of the tank with vinegar.This can be done with the fish still in the tank as it will not harm them.I would recommend that you do it everytime when tank is empty and you are cleaning it out.
