  • That may be one of the best reasons to leave. If he was overseas fighting some war, THAT would be wrong.
  • No. Thats what you should do , for you. I hope it works out for you ☺
  • No it's not. He obviously wasn't concerned about leaving his partner while he was doing whatever he was doing that landed his ass in jail. We all have choices in life. He has to live with his, but his girlfriend doesn't.
  • I don't think it is wrong. Like Sweet Arena said he didn't care much about leaving you when he got arrested. I think maybe it depends why he's going and for how long he'll be locked up. If it's for a while, honey move on. He isn't goin to be doin nothing for you locked away.
  • I dont think so
  • depends on what he did to go in. But speaking for myself..I probably would. Because i don't like criminals and jail birds. I abbide by the law and my mate should too... :-)
  • No, if he's doing enough to get himself thrown into jail he's not thinking clearly enough anyways. Do what is best for you and stay safe.
  • No, I'd say that if anything that would be a reason TO leave. All in all, I'd say felons probably aren't the best boyfriend material:)
  • I wouldn't stick around.
  • umm, no its probably a good idea
  • Is it wrong for you to stick around and someday end up in jail with him?How many times has he been in jail, that you know of?Theres no such thing in my book as a "small" crime.A criminal is just that, and God only knows how much worse it can get for a person headed down that road.Or those who stay with them.
  • Wrong to stay. "Birds of a feather flock together." He's doing a lot of damage to your reputation, if you still have one.
  • i would say that would be a perfect time to get a new boyfriend - don't you think that you deserve better?
  • Youll know the answer to your question when you find the answer to this one. Is it wrong for him to do something so bad as to go to jail and expect you to wait for him. Plus staying with someone in jail just brings more problems and stress into your life that you could do without.
  • its worse to have a boyfriend doing jail time
  • Sounds like you are on the right track Chingles. Even if you are no longer his girlfriend, I would still leave him with prayers that he turn his life around. (i.e. That would be a great gift, as many of us have past relationships that we have moved on from, but how many of us have maintained prayers for the welfare of those who have gone down the wrong path?) Best- Rick
  • u can go ahead and do whatever u want but it all depends on the guy it could either turn out to be bad or good u just have to take the chance
  • NO!!! Why would you want to be involved with someone involved in criminal activity?
  • Depending on how long you have been in a relationship with him and the circumstances, I would say the best thing to do is wait til he gets out. I am in jail right now, I get out for child care daily but it is still a very lonely horrible place to be in, everybody needs somebody. If you ever think that you will want to be with him someday, he will look at when he needed you the most and tha you turned your back on him. You should have thought about ending it before he went not after the fact.
  • Have you people ever thought he might be in there for something he DIDN'T do? This has happened many times to innocent people. Not EVERYONE in Jail is BAD...Look at Martha Stewart for that matter... Chingles, you really need to look and see if this is the person you love. Don't leave just cuz it could harm your reputation...leave if you feel it's right. He possibly will come out a better person and if you love him, you should at least give him that chance.
  • umm...NO
  • NO IT IS NOT WRONG TO LEAVE HIM!!!!!! How many times has he been in jail is the question?
