Believe it or not, a patch on Mt. Rose highway between north lake Tahoe (Incline Village) and Reno, Nevada where a grove of quaking aspen turn every year and for about 10 days (before the wind blows the leaves off), the trees are brilliant, fire-orange-red-gold.

I am blessed to live in an absolutely beautiful area in the southeast corner of Ohio where I am bathed in the colors daily as I drive to and from my house. But I can drive 3 to 5 hours through Maryland's Cumberland Gap area and down into Southern West Virginia and be totally mesmerized by the fall foliage as well.
