    I have MS Access available at work, and I'm relatively familiar with it -- and it's free to me -- so that's what I use most of the time.

    But about 10 years ago I bought Alpha 5 for my own use and loved it. And they've improved it since then.

    I've also used Oracle databases with SQL-Plus access and query capability. I'm a bit rusty with that, but I enjoyed it.
