actually when I am eating out or eating at socials/parties I don't eat everything I want to eat because I am self conscious and because I am afraid someone will say "you should not be eating that..aren't you fat enough" or something like that. I am doing everything I can to lose weight but every once in a while I like to splurge too but people today or so judgemental and look down on anyone who they think is not "perfect" and so I am very cautious with what I eat around others.

Yes….. lovely and oh so desirable Sara…..Ostrich eggs, in fact...politically incorrect you know

No. I have never had that problem. Ocassionally, close family will complain that I am not eating enough. If someone comments on what I select, I laugh and say, "To each their own."

I used to when I'd go out with the rich crowd at a holycrapthisshitisexpensive restaurant. Now I just say "ah, sadly I already ate - I'll just have a ______" and order an ostentatiously complicated drink.

I'm self-conscious of what I'm eating when I'm around other people. I tend to overcompensate for that when I'm alone (which makes it difficult to keep my weight under control). I feel like half the room sees what I'm eating and judging.
