I recently moved to the Asheville NC area. Today I found a spider shaped like a black widow. However, the body was red ,the legs were black and white striped and it's back had yellow markings. What type of spider is it and is it poisonou

    all spiders contain venom but only a handfull can actually harm people it does not ring any bells as far a harmfull spiders I know of. Check your local agricultural website for your county to be sure.
