Help answer this question below.

If a named driver has an accident who makes the claim them or the holder? My wife has 2 cars our son is named on 1. he had accident.after accident and claim that policy went up and when the other car came up my that one also went up.

    No, they didn't make a mistake.

    If you are willing to accept fiscal responsibility for your son by putting him on your policy (as opposed to get him his own policy) then it is your policy(s) which are now higher risk and will go up.

    Depending how he drives over the next few years it may be cheaper to insure him separately and limit him to access of only the cheaper vehicle (or buy him a beater to drive/insure and keep him off your policies/driver's seat). :)
