  • It is not normal for a child to be scared to live at home. Talk to your little sister and find out what is troubling her. Whether she is being abused, molested, neglected, seeking attention, or if she just feels insecure, she is reaching out for someone to listen. If you can't get anything out of her, ask her which parent she trusts the most and then talk to that parent about her concerns. If she doesn't trust either parent, go to a school counselor or an official with her concerns. Last but not least, if no one is listening, you can contact Child Protective Services. They WILL listen!
  • I'm "scaried" that you say that you're 23 and yet you write ... like that. But to answer your Q, if you remove a minor child from its parents' home without their permission (not hers, which doesn't really count in a legal sense), then yes, you could be charged with kidnapping.
  • What is she scared of? Has she told any one but you? School etc? IN most states, the age to make a residential decision in event of divorce is 12-14. Your best bet is to talk to your mother, and get a voluntary change of residence.
