Did you ever feel you were getting more speed by using the 'Turbo' button? (not sure if this should be under H/W or performance)

    One Question how old is your computer?
    I remember 486 computers as having turbo buttons and they where needed to run older programs which used the processors speed to regulate in program actions Ex.(early games)
    The turbo button acually cut the speed of the computer down so that the programs ran properly.

    We have a turbo button in our car, and yes, it makes the car speed up quickly. I am not sure if this is what you were referring to, you did nto say, and I do not know what H/W means.
