Dab a bit of Corn Starch Baby Powder on the hair--avoiding eyes at all times...your goal here is to let the powder asorb the vaseline. Then bathe baby and use baby shampoo on hair.

i put vaseline in my hair to help get rid of dry scalp but then could not get it out!
I brushed corn starch in to my hair and then washed it with a cheap shampoo. followed up by a conditioner fro dry hair then rinsed with cool water. Then i foloowed up with a rinse of lemon juice ( the acid helps) but then make sure you rinse with very very cold water and rinse well!!! the lemon juice can lighten your hair so if you dont want that result rinse twice!
this could take a couple of times but it does work

Is sodium bicarbonate (found in washing soda) as effective at cleaning clothing as a surfactant (found in store bought laundry detergent)?
